Mackinac Island, Michigan is a fabulous location to be Married! There are no cars allowed on the island so walking, biking, and horse drawn carriage are the means of transportation. Life is slow paced and the island is beautiful! I work at all of the Mackinac Island Locations doing Weddings, Family Images, Pet Photography, Children, Senior Images, and more. Mackinac Island Wedding at Little Stone Church

Kristin and Andrew are Married! They had originally planned on 100 people or less and when they said they were getting married on beautiful Mackinac Island the plans changed quickly, everyone wanted to come. The end result…180 guests! All the people added a little flair to the day and it brightened up the rainy skies.

It was great to see a family and a group of friends come together to celebrate after a tragic loss of a father. What a whirlwind this family has been through but they made the day shine! Thank you for being so willing to have fun and experiment even with the on and off rain and wet grounds.

The Wedding was at The Little Stone Church on Mackinac Island, Michigan, a Michigan Historic site, at 2pm with the reception following at Mission Point Resort on Mackinac Island, Michigan.

Mission Point Resort Wedding | Mackinac Island, MI

Shelly and Dennis are a prime example of a couple in LOVE! The Gazebo at Mission Point Resort on Mackinac Island, Michigan was the location of their beautiful Wedding. It was just a perfect sunny day on Mackinac Island in Northern Michigan.

The Wedding Ceremony at the Gazebo at Mission Point was very beautiful and short. It was just the two of them coming from Illinois for a fabulous elopement. Everyone cried in attendance and the couple was just full of life. After the ceremony a bottle of Champagne was delivered to the Ceremony location for a couples toast.

The Horse Drawn Carriage from Arrow Head Carriage Tours, Phone 906.847.6112, arrived right on time and pulled onto the lawn to pick up the bride and groom. We had a wonderful cruise around Mackinac Island. The downtown was electric with applause for the couple and we captured every moment of their time in the spotlight. The white Wedding carriage with Arrow Head is a beauty and makes for a fabulous prop in the images.

The flowers at Mission Point Resort Gazebo Wedding were awesome and they were designed by Weber’s Floral and Gift on Mackinac Island, Michigan. I would recommend Weber’s Flowers for any event. They really do a great job. Shelly’s favorite color is Red and she has beautiful, fresh red roses in both the Wedding bouquet and the boutinerre.

Lilacs are blooming now on Mackinac Island, Michigan

Head to Mackinac Island now for the lilacs!

The Wedding season for me begins tomorrow and I am excited for all of the beautiful lilacs on the island. It is fantastic right now. The weather is starting to be more summer like and the smells are wonderful from the flowers. Get away from the crowded summer months by going now to Mackinac Island, Michigan.
