Mackinac Island, Michigan is a fabulous location to be Married! There are no cars allowed on the island so walking, biking, and horse drawn carriage are the means of transportation. Life is slow paced and the island is beautiful! I work at all of the Mackinac Island Locations doing Weddings, Family Images, Pet Photography, Children, Senior Images, and more. Places like The Grand Hotel, Mission Point Resort, The Inn at Stonecliffe, The Island House, Iroquois Hotel, Chippewa Hotel, Little Stone Church, St. Anne's Catholic Church, Fort Mackinac, Historic Mission Church, and all Mackinac Island Wedding locations.

Porch outdoor Wedding Grand Hotel Mackinac Island, Michigan

Kristie and Todd are a fabulous combination. Their love shined through on their Wedding day at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, Michigan in Northern Michigan. This location is a beautiful spot for your outdoor Wedding in a destination location that is only accessible by horse, bike, or foot; no motorized vehicles permitted. This adds to the alure of the Grand Hotel and they huge porch Wedding location. The sound of the horse hooves clanking by adding to the soft melody of the cellist created a utopia for their Wedding ceremony.

Kristie and Todd opted to have a first look and then do all of their images prior to the Wedding ceremony so that they could spend all of the time with their family and friends at their intimate Wedding Ceremony and Reception on the Grand Hotel porch. Here are some of the beautiful images we captured prior to the Wedding Ceremony on the porch at the Grand Hotel, Mackinac Island.

The bride and groom opted for more of a magazine style, fashion shoot. They like the more edgy images and we made nice, creative images together. Here are just a few.

Then the beautiful couple was married on the porch at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, Michigan.

Inn at Stonecliffe Wedding | Mackinac Island | Michigan

Mackinac Island Wedding | Inn at Stonecliffe

Ashley and Dan traveled all the way from St. Louis, MO to find their dream destination Wedding location on Mackinac Island, Michigan at the Inn at Stonecliffe. It was an intimate Wedding with 25 family and friends on the lawn at The Inn at Stoncliffe. The Wedding reception took place on the patio overlooking the Straits of Mackinaw and the Mackinac Bridge.

Ashley wore an Allure Wedding gown and her Mackinac Island Wedding flowers were completed by St. Ignace Greenhouse in St. Ignace, Michigan. Wedding hair on Mackinac Island by 7th heaven salon.

The Wedding was officiated by Reverand Edwin Remaly.

Mackinac Island Wedding video was captured by Mackinac Island Video Productions.

Ashley and Dan’s Wedding theme was vintage, elegance, and classic. Their Wedding colors were silver, pink, and ivory.

Wedding carriage ride following the Wedding ceremony around Mackinac Island with Mackinac Island Carriage Tours. I rode my bike and captured beautiful Wedding images of them.

Dancing at the Grand Hotel in the evening hours. We left The Inn at Stonecliffe at 9:30pm and spent the evening dancing at The Grand Hotel.

Mackinac Island Wedding at Little Stone Church

Kristin and Andrew are Married! They had originally planned on 100 people or less and when they said they were getting married on beautiful Mackinac Island the plans changed quickly, everyone wanted to come. The end result…180 guests! All the people added a little flair to the day and it brightened up the rainy skies.

It was great to see a family and a group of friends come together to celebrate after a tragic loss of a father. What a whirlwind this family has been through but they made the day shine! Thank you for being so willing to have fun and experiment even with the on and off rain and wet grounds.
